Email the President
I was born in Wollongong in 1956 at the age of 4 we moved to the Shire where I remained until I was married in 1980 at which time we moved to Lugarno where we presently live.
I have been fortunate enough to be a member of The Scots College Pipe Band which toured Scotland in 1973 and performed in the Edinburgh Tattoo.
In 1985 Jennifer and I flew to America where Jennifer’s blood was involved in a military experiment. Her blood travelled up in the shuttle to be examined under zero gravity. We went again in 1988 for further experiments and another shuttle Flight.
During the years 1975 to 2005 I was Camp Director of Kids Camp, an organisation which organised and ran camps for Children with Diabetes between the ages of 9 and 12.
As you may be aware I have survived two head on car crashes over the years. I consider myself extremely lucky to still be able to play croquet.
In 2006 I was fortunate enough to be introduced to the fantastic sport of Croquet and am currently really enjoying it. My only problem now is that four letter word “WORK”, which seems to constantly get in the way of further enjoyment of croquet. I treasure the friendships and associations I have made both through our club and the broader croquet community.
I look forward to hearing your stories.
