Golf Croquet games will be played by WCF Golf Croquet rules 2007
International Balls will be used
Singles will be played in 3 blocks of 8 (eight) played as a single round robin event. All games will be 13 hoop games. Play will cease when one player scores 7 hoops. There will be a time limit of 60 minutes. Play will immediately when time sounds. If scores are tied then play will continue until the next and deciding hoop is scored
Doubles will be played in 2 blocks of 6 (six) played as a single round robin event. The teams for this event will be selected by the organising
committee using a High-Low structure in an attempt to achieve a very close event. All games will be 13 hoop games. Play will cease when one player scores 7 hoops. There will be a time limit of 60 minutes. Play will immediately when time sounds. If scores are tied then play will continue until the next and deciding hoop is scored
Croquet Players should be prepared to play 5 games in one day
For all Players play will begin at 8.30am each day. All players will be given a 10 minute break between each game due to the expected January weather
Players should arrive at least
half an hour before their scheduled start in case games are ahead of schedule. Time will be available for a 5 minute hit-up prior to each game provided there is no other game in progress on the court
Players must report to the Manager on arrival and before departure to check on their next game
Players must produce Handicap Cards on arrival
Presentation will be made after the Doubles on Sunday 29th January 2012
